Hussainabad ((ウルドゥー語: حسین آباد )), also known as Gidu chowck is a town of Hyderabad city in Sindh, Pakistan near the Indus River.〔(Location of Gidu chowck - Falling Rain Genomics )〕 Hussainabad is the newer name of the town. Asia's well known mental hospital is also here which is called Giddu Hospital. The Sindhi people are a majority in the town and the Sindhi language is the dominant language. Hussainabad's most prominent place is Mehran Park which is ideal place for the Hyderabad's citizens to spend their free time and enjoy the fresh air near the Indus River (Sindhu Darya). The Main Places Of Hussainabad are Zeeshan Plaza, Sharif Square, Salma Garden and Mir Hassanabad. River Indus is about 0.6 kilometer from Zeeshan Plaza. There is also make new schemes (Maheem Residency and Ali twin towers) on the chowk of Hussainabad. Hussainabad is an Area of Peace . Zeeshan Plaza is biggest Plaza of Hussainabad till now, after sometime Ali twin towers will be the biggest compring of 8 storeys. In Hussainabad there is wapda colony where a big hospital is present to provide health facilities to the public other than that a huge park, jogging area and national bank are also there. In Hussainabad there are many rich people who live there. Especially Bughios, Soomros, Buriro family, Memons and others. Some famous docters are : Dr. Khalid Abro, Dr. Ashok Kumar and Dr. Aukhund. In Zeeshan Plaza there are many general stores, medical stores and a clinic of Dr. Khalid Abro. The are also many schools. Fishermans who sell fishes in this area and these fishes mainly include Palla fish (Ilish) which is loved by people.
